Cranbourne and the Casey growth corridor

Website design Cranbourne

A tidy homepage does not bring in the job. Cranbourne customers call the business they can find, on a page that loads, with a number they can tap. We build that site, and the local SEO around it, for trades and service businesses in Cranbourne, Clyde and Berwick.

Client reviews

Published client comments. Not a live Google star rating.

  • "Working with Chriss was a highly professional and straightforward experience. The finished website she delivered far exceeded our expectations. I would absolutely recommend Studio Blue Digital to any business looking for high-quality web design."

    Chris Graham, Hyplane Constructions

    Drouin, VIC

  • "When our electrical services slowed down during lockdown, Chriss's lead generation setup was a lifesaver. Chriss reached out to partner on oven repairs, and it's been a massive success ever since. She is incredibly easy to work with and we are absolutely thrilled with the results."

    Ben, Ballarat Oven Repairs

    Ballarat, VIC

  • "I've been working with Chriss since the start of the year and I'm so glad I connected with her. The marketing guidance and technical support she's provided has been invaluable. I used to know nothing about search engine visibility, and my site was completely lost on page 3 of Google. Thanks to her guidance and dedication, we are now getting real traction. If you need local growth, she is the absolute best choice."

Judi Pay, We Are Phillip Island

    Phillip Island, VIC

  • "Chriss helped us to set up our website which has proved quite successful. We have regular customers as a result. Her personal and helpful service is second to none. Thanks Chriss."

    Malcolm, Home Energy Doctor

    Yarragon, VIC

  • "Chriss designed our website for McGregor Building, and within just seven months, we were booking construction jobs directly from search queries. She made the process simple and understood exactly what kind of local leads we were after."

    Hamish McGregor, McGregor Building

    Ballarat, VIC

  • "We are getting new conveyancing leads almost daily for our firm in Wagga. The local search strategy Chriss put in place has successfully broadened our regional reach. Her local SEO work is fantastic and highly recommended."

    Ella Edwards, Boutique Property Conveyancing

    Wagga Wagga, NSW

Case studies

There is no published Cranbourne client on this site yet. These are real Victorian builds. Hyplane Constructions is the closest: a Drouin builder whose work runs from Berwick to Cape Paterson.

Drouin, work from Berwick to Cape Paterson

Problem: A boutique home builder with no website, relying on directory listings, and invisible for high-value building searches.

What we built: A fast mobile layout, a project gallery, and local on-page SEO for the suburbs they actually build in.

Result: Page-one visibility for their building searches, and enquiries across that service area. Chris Graham said the finished site far exceeded expectations.

Ballarat custom homes

Problem: A custom builder starting with no site, needing high-value project enquiries rather than small jobs.

What we built: A project showcase with local search pages and a clear way to enquire.

Result: Hamish was getting calls for building work within seven months, and later had enough work to turn jobs away.

Local service business

Problem: A local repair business that needed the website and the Google listing to work as one, across several towns.

What we built: A fast service site tied to the Google Business Profile, with pages for the towns they actually cover.

Result: Ben has held map-pack positions since 2020. He says the website and Facebook page bring in around 130 calls a month.

Electrical

Problem: Leads were coming from directories that sold the same enquiry to several electricians.

What we built: A mobile-first site with the phone number in reach, so emergency calls come to the business directly.

Result: A direct call path, instead of sharing every enquiry with competitors.

Why a nice site loses customers

Cranbourne has plenty of new estates and plenty of trades with a neat logo. The site still loses the customer when it gets in the way of the call.

  1. 1. It looks finished and still loads too slowly

Someone searching on a phone, often from the car or the kitchen, will go back to Google before a heavy template finishes. A nice design that takes several seconds is a lost call.

  2. 2. It never says what you do, or where

"Quality service you can trust" could be any trade in any suburb. Google and the customer both need the service and the place in plain words: electrician in Cranbourne, builder in Clyde, clinic in Berwick.

  3. 3. The phone number is hard to find

A long form, or a number buried in the footer, is enough to send the job to the next listing. The number needs to be tappable at the top of the page.

  4. 4. The website and the Google listing disagree

A different phone number, the wrong business category, or a service area that stops at the wrong suburb makes the map pack less likely to show you. The listing and the site have to tell the same story.

  5. 5. There is nothing to check

Stock photos and a polished layout do not beat a plainer site that shows real jobs, a licence, and reviews from people you have actually worked for.

  6. 6. It was built once and left alone

Search around Cranbourne keeps moving into Clyde, Clyde North and Botanic Ridge. A site that never names the suburbs you drive to will not come up for them.

Local SEO for Cranbourne, in plain terms

The map pack is the three businesses with a map above the normal results. It is driven by the Google Business Profile, the reviews on it, and whether the website backs up the same services and suburbs. We set the listing up so the name, phone number and categories match the site. We do not buy reviews or promise a position.

On the site itself, each important service gets its own page, with the Cranbourne wording in the title and the heading. One strong page for the area beats twenty copied pages that only swap the suburb name. Copied suburb pages are a known way to get a site ignored.

Reviews help when they arrive steadily from real customers. We add a simple review link and a short follow-up you can send after a job. We do not invent ratings, and this page does not show a star score we have not measured.

Suburbs this page is written for

Naming a suburb here means we can build for businesses that work there. It is not a claim that we already rank in that suburb.

  • Cranbourne North
  • Cranbourne West
  • Cranbourne South
  • Clyde

Questions from Cranbourne businesses

How much does a website cost in Cranbourne?

Most new builds fall between $2,400 and $4,900. Where you land depends on how many pages you need, how many services you offer, and how many suburbs you want to cover properly. A single-trade electrician needs a different site than a builder working across Clyde, Berwick and Pakenham. Website renovations, where the foundation is solid but the site is slow or hard to enquire on, typically run $900 to $1,800. All prices exclude GST. We provide a fixed quote, with no hidden fees.

Do you have an office in Cranbourne?

No. Studio Blue Digital works with Cranbourne businesses from Victoria. The build, the copy and the Google Business Profile setup are done online, and you can call 0408 662 554 to talk it through.

How long does a Cranbourne website take?

Most local business websites are designed, built and launched in 2 to 4 weeks. We write the copy, prepare the images and handle the domain setup so you are not coordinating three different people.

Will my business show up on Google in Cranbourne?

A new site is not a ranking promise. What we do is give Google a clear story: the service, the suburbs you actually travel to, and a Google Business Profile that uses the same name, phone number and categories as the website. That is what makes the map pack and the local results possible. Rankings still depend on competition and reviews.

Which suburbs can the site cover?

The page can name the suburbs you genuinely serve, such as Cranbourne East, Clyde, Clyde North, Botanic Ridge, Hampton Park and Berwick. We do not publish a stack of near-identical suburb pages. Google treats that as spam. We add a separate page only when there is real work or a real service difference to show.

What if I already have a website?

We can check speed, the mobile layout and whether the site and your Google listing match. If the foundation is solid, a renovation is enough. If it is a slow template full of plugins, a clean rebuild is usually faster and cheaper to live with.

WordPress or Astro?

WordPress if you want a dashboard to change text and photos yourself. Astro if the pages rarely change and you want a fast site with no database to maintain. You own the domain, the code and the copy either way.
